aggiornamento firmware modulo adsl cisco 877

ciao a tutti, devo aggironare il firmware del modulo adsl di un cisco 877, qualcuno sa come aiutarmi? grazie milleho già la versione .bin scaricata dal sito cisco.

1. Firmware file details and purpose

The Firmware file version (3.0.10) resolves some of the specific ADSL interoperability issues (Refer to Caveats). IOS release 12.4(6)T is recommended with this firmware version.

Refer individual platform data sheets for complete DSLAM interoperability details

2. Target Platforms

Loading of the firmware file from flash separate from IOS is supported on all the Fixed ADSL Integrated Services Routers. Following is the list of platforms supported:

1 .Cisco 857
2. Cisco 876, Cisco 877
3. Cisco 1801, Cisco 1802
4. HWIC-1ADSL1, HWIC-1ADSLI, HWIC-ADSL-B/ST, HWIC-ADSLI-B/ST




3. Instructions for upgrading the firmware file

1. Download the file and rename the file "adsl_alc_20190.bin".
2. Copy the firmware file to the flash:
3. For the new firmware to take effect, reboot the device.
4. The “show dsl interface atm 0” output gives the details of the firmware file in use

Note:

 The firmware file should not be renamed when being copied to the flash , Since the router looks for the presence of file named "adsl_alc_20190.bin" to initiate the flash upgrade process
 If IOS is now able to find a valid firmware in the flash then it would always use that rather than the firmware embedded in IOS .If users want to use the embedded firmware, they have to ensure that there is no valid firmware file in flash.


4. Caveats

The following issues are fixed in the latest firmware 3.0.10

1) CSCse51699 : 1801 can not train to HiFOCUS 4 in operating mode auto.

ho messo su la versione di IOS più recente, e di firmware il 3.0.014 - funziona tutto ora, e con la 20 mb si allinea a 12 mb - non male sapendo che non raggiugnerà mai i 20..
hai per caso qualche idea su come incrementare la velocità di allinemanto?, io ho risolto togliendo la stringa "ip tcp adjust-mss 1452" nella configurazione della vlan - anche se non capisco perchè togliendo quella funziona e con la stringa no -.-
cmq.. se dall'alto della tua conoscenza (complimenti, tra l'altro) riesci a venirmi incontro .. grazie ancora

Io non ho ancora visto adsl2 ad andare a 20 Mbps...
Dipende molto dalla vicinanza che hai con la centrale del isp...
Fai uno "sh dsl int atm0" e vediamo i dati di attenuazione e rumore.

Io non ho ancora visto adsl2 ad andare a 20 Mbps...
Dipende molto dalla vicinanza che hai con la centrale del isp...
Fai uno "sh dsl int atm0" e vediamo i dati di attenuazione e rumore.

ma guarad questa linea non ha limiti di velocità eccessivi, arriverà al max a 17 mb con un altro router..
finora coi linksys non ho avuto problemi, al max si fa richiesta di riavvio della piastra in centrale e la cosa migliora..
se mi dici che più di così non si può fare, allora mi fido grazie ancora di tutto

Prova a farci vedere la config ma dubito che si possa migliorare molto...
