Ciao. Sono un nefita di reti routers ecc.
ho tentato di configurarmi un cisco 837 per avere una rete di 4 pc.
Sono in UK e cerco di collegarmi al provider plusnet
ho, a fatica, scritto questa configurazione.

sembra che il cisco comunichi con la rete ma non riesco proprio a navigare con internet esplorer o altro.

la conf sembra essere in regola prova a postarci uno show delle interfacce e anche uno show atm pvc per escludere problemi di comunicazione col pop

controlla che il pvc sia corretto, mi puzza un po' quello 0/35

Con questo provider in UK sembra si debba usare pvc 0/35

Se ti sembra ok il fronte cisco rete forse sto facendo stupidaggini sulla configurazione lan di windows

Non credo sia il vp/vc il problema anche perchè dallo show atm pvc risulta essere up e quindi il mux (dslam) glielo "conferma" quello che succede invece è che la tua int dialer 0 non negozia ip (Internet address will be negotiated using IPCP) con il pop e quindi non è assolutamente vero che il cisco "dialoga" nel geografico (internet) però mi suona strano una cosa: come mai la tua dialer0 genera 2 virtual access per l'appunto v-a1 e v-a2? se ci fai caso sulla 2 infatti compare un v-a2 is up line protocol is down a supporto infatti del negoziamento ip che deve avvenire nella dialer0. La v-a1 invece è tutta up quindi si possono prospettare 3 ipotesi
1) si è incasinato qualcosa nel router quindi fai un bel wr er e riconfigura daccapo
2) ci sono problemi nel pop del tuo provider e quindi devi prendertela con loro
3) non utilizzano PPPoA ma PPPoE e quindi va riconfigurata la tua ATM in PPPoE...
per verificare la 3 ipotesi prova a riavviare il router e prima che il link su adsl diventi fisso lancia debug ppp negotiation e posta il log

ci fa capire che la tua Dialer 0 genere la Vi2 che è quella che è fisicamente up ma down logicamente...

a conferma di questo se fai uno show int d0 dovresti notare anche il tuo ip che ti è stato assegnato dal pop...
praticamente allora aveva ragione The Irish che il pvc era errato e io devo rettificare quanto detto in precedenza in quanto cio che è detto riguardo al pvc
...show atm pvc risulta essere up e quindi il mux (dslam) glielo "conferma"...
è vero se e sole se è abilitato l'oam-pvc manage....
Cmq veniamo a noi l'ip che tenti di pingare da consolle non lo raggiungo nemmeno io quindi mi sa che è down quella macchina a cui è associato...
se invece fai un ping dalla tua macchina verso l'indirizzo del router lo raggiungi???
