Scusate non riesco a capire come mai non riesco a far funzionare la eth0/0 del mio router:

- ho configurato la schde di rete del pc con ind. ip e sub.mask
- ho configurato la ethernet 0/0 con ind. ip e sub.mask e no shutdown

ora mi da protocol down sull'interfaccia ma non capisco il perchè?

ops troppa foga nello scrivere è un router 2600 series ...

Se l'interfaccia è up ed il protocol down mi sembra più facile che il problema stia nella config o nel cavo piuttosto che nell'hardware..
o a meno così ricordo...
prova a postare uno sh interfaces ethernet

ho provato a collegare due router e sono riuscito a fare un ping sull'altro router -> la eth funziona.
..ma il problema rimane in quanto l'altro router si collega alla scheda di rete del mio pc mentre il 2610 no :\

Ma hai provato ed effettuare una verifica sul cavo? Prova a sostituire il cavo sulla connessione "incriminata"....ci sono due reset d'interfaccia e diversi errori di output :dovrebbero essere gli indizi di un problema di Livello 1...se la memoria non mi inganna

ho già provato a cambiare il cavo, a configurare manualmente half/full-duplex e velocità sulla scheda di rete ma con quel router non ne vuole sapere
