Cisco 1700 wic-1enet

Salve a tutti,
ho un piccolo problema, su un "vecchio" cisco 1720 ho installato una wic-1enet, il router ha installato nello slot 0 una seriale e ho messo la wic nello slot 1.

Acceso il router le spie verdi sul retro (wic 0 ok e wic 1 ok) sono accese e questo indica che le schede funzionano (?).

ma al comando show interfaces vengono visualizzate solo la serial0 e la FastEthernet0.

Devo fare qualcosa di specifico per far "vedere" al router che è presente la nuova wic?
Potrebbe essere la versione di IOS che non supporta la wic?

Il IOS non riconosce la wic prova ad aggiornarlo.

forse il problema sta nel fatto che cisco serie 1700 riconosce la wic 1enet solo se è istallata nello slot 0. prova a cambiare lo slot e auguri

Per la WIC-4ESW e' richiesta la versione di IOS 12.2(15)ZL per 1711 e 1712 e 12.3(2)XC per 1721, 1751, 1760, dunque superiore a quella che gira sul tuo router.

Il tuo 1720 non e' menzionato, ma cmq proverei a fare un aggiornamento dell'IOS.
