Informazioni su collegamento firewall con cisco

Salve,
ho configurato un router cisco 837 il quale funziona bene. Ora vorrei aggiungergli un firewall in quanto ultimamente credo di ricevere degli attacchi dall'esterno. Sapreste indicarmi un modello possibilmente economico di firewall?
Avendo un solo indirizzo IP pubblico posso collegare in cascata prima il cisco e poi il firewall?

Nel tuo caso non è meglio prendere una ios firewall per il tuo 837?
Facci vedere uno "sh ver" + che altro x il Mb di RAM che hai

Potrei avere a disposizione anche un router 1841 ma vorrei utilizzare l'837.

Ma eventualmente l'IOS firewall se non dovessi averlo dove lo trovo? è a pagamento? esiste un'interfaccia grqafica per poterlo configurare?

l'ios è a pagamento puoi averla con un abbonamento SmartNet, e le scarichi direttamente dal sito della cisco...l'interfaccia grafica c'è è l'sdm...ma ti conviene configurarlo da console perchè crea una configurazione (ripetendo la parola di non so chi,che però calza benissimo) "sporca"...

Con la ram che hai (64 Mb) puoi installare la ultima ios versione plus.
Ti costa meno che prendere un altro apparato e per quello che devi fare tu va bene. Per reperire la ios ci vorrebbe un contratto smartnet...

x 837 te la dovresti cavare con un 100 euri.....
