Salve a tutti!
ho ricevuto ieri la mia nuova wic-1adsl, comprata su ebay, provenienza olanda;
tutto felice apro il pacco, la monto al posto della vecchia (guasta) ma internet va MOOOOLTO lento; ad esempio, apre google una scheggia e poi il secondo sito che si va a visitare (qualunque esso sia, ebay, google news, facebook, ciscoforums) non lo sputa fuori. da notare che firefox non mi da nessunissimo errore tipo impossibile visualizzare ecc..
confrontando la wic vecchia e la nuova, vedo che sul chip della vecchia c'è il marchio ALCATEL mentre sulla nuova c'è il marchio ST, così come su altri integrati vi sono marchi differenti; nonostante ciò, il router vede la nuova wic come chip alcatel.. è possibile che sia fasulla???
preciso anche che quando ho attaccato la nuova wic, non ho assolutamente toccato la configurazione.

Beh i parametri di linea non sono ottimali.
Se prima andava bene potrebbe essere la scheda difettosa.
Però bisognerebbe provarne un'altra. Oppure cambia il filtro che se la scheda precedente si è rotta per una scarica dalla rete telefonica potrebbe essersi rotto anche il filtro.

bhè ho provato già un altro filtro ma non cambia nulla..
la vecchia scheda accende ma non aggancia più la linea (causa di un brutto temporale)

Il modem di alice però, (quello bianco) funziona bene.. che faccio?

comunque sia, la nuova wic aggancia la linea abbastanza velocemente mi apre il primo sito(google ne mio caso) e poi nulla più.. ma è possibile che sia fasulla? o guasta?

Beh se un altro modem va bene la linea è a posto.
Strano che la prima pagina va veloce e le altre no.
Non è che la prima pagina è in cache? Hai visto i log del router?
Non è che cade il protocollo o qualcosa del genere? Ci sono errori sull'interfaccia?
Se non hai toccato la configurazione e prima andava bene non penso dipenda da quella.

forse dico una fesseria, ma pare che apre la prima pagina e resta in cache..comunque, ora mando una mail al venditore ebay..magari la wic è difettosa..e inoltre, mi stranisce il fatto che ci siano i chip della ST microelettronics al posto degli alcatel (anche se non ho questa grande esperienza ma non ne avevo mai viste)
