ciao a tutti,
ho bisogno del vostro aiuto per la configurazione del router cisco877 nell'ufficio di mio cugino.
Premetto che nell'ufficio adesso è presente un router netgear DG834 con la seguente configurazione fornita da telecom:
ip statico 217.56.xxx.121
gateway 217.56.xxx.122
dns 151.99.125.1 e 151.99.125.2
PPPoA con encapsulation LLC e pvc8/35

premetto che sono alle prime armi...... :roll:

quando collego il router vedo che la luce 'CD' rimane fissa mentre le luci RXD e TXD lampenggiano ogni tanto e purtroppo la connessione ad internet non funziona :(

qualche suggerimento?
ad esempio devo utilizzare aal5mux oppure aal5snap?

ciao,
con encapsulation LLC devi usare aal5snap.

Ma se fai show ip interface brief, all'interfaccia dialer0 viene assegnato un ip?

grazie dell'info infatti studiando un pochino di più l'atm avevo dedotto che aal5mux non andava bene :wink: . In ogni caso sono riuscito a risolvere il problema eliminando il dialer0 e creando una configurazione punto punto

Quello che invece ho notato è che facendo show int atm0 e poi atm0.1 MTU è settato a 4470 bytes. Non dovrebbe essere settato a 1500?
