Buona sera a tutti!!
Mi hanno regalato un vecchiotto router cisco soho 97,ma aveva la password e io per resettare il tutto credo di aver pasticciato scrivendo copy running-config startup-config seguendo la guida

Come posso rimediare?
la configurazione forse non mi interessa,tanto devo cambiarla per accedere con tiscali ,ma se almeno potessi entrare via web.

prova a fare una write erase per cancellare completamente la configurazione. riavvia il router senza salvare.
così dovrebbe chiederti di configurare il router in modalità dialogo (lui domanda e tu gli rispondi i parametri da inserire).
alla fine dovrebbe abilitare di default il raggiungimento in http dalla rete configurata sull'interfaccia ethernet.

non vorrei dire una scemata ma .. con i seguenti comandi dovresti risolvere il problema che non ti carica la configurazione al riavvio

Si ok ! sembra funzionare ,ovvero adesso tiene le informazioni,però mi dice :

Perchè mi dice questo?
dipende dal fatto che uso un hub 10/10 e non uno switch 10/100 magari?
Grazie della pazienza,poi vorrei riuscire per la configurazione con adsl tiscali.

Ciao, prova a dare questi comandi:
il comando no shut ti abilita l'interfaccia (casomai fosse in shutdown) mentre il comando half-duplex forza l'interfaccia in half-duplex (per funzionare in full-d devi avere uno switch che lo supporta)

La config della ethernet a mio (modestissimo) parere è ok.
Ti suggerirei di controllare l'hub a cui è collegato e come è collegato.
Il router ha una sola porta ethernet o piu di una?
che cavo stai utilizzando (cross o dritto) ?

al max se il router ha una sola porta puoi collegare il pc direttamente con un cavo cross e provare a fare un ping per vedere se ti risponde.
