1841 e scheda UMTS

Salve a tutti!!!

Io ho montato la scheda su un cisco 3825 ma stranamente configurandola come ho visto sopra, facendo con il comando show interface mi dà l'interfaccia in down sia in protocol che in adminstratvely.

Ho provato sull'interfaccia cellular 0/0/0 ha mettere il comando no shutdown ma nulla l'interfaccia è sempre giù.

La cosa strana è che sulla riga di comando mi dà l'interfaccia in down invece se vado sull'interfaccia grafica del router me la dà in up.

Il problema è che non riesco purtroppo a collegarmi perchè questa scheda mi serve come beckup.

Veramente strano :shock:

Sei sicuro che l'IOS ti riconosca la scheda?
Che l'interfaccia sia down, nei momenti in cui non é richiesta connessione, mi torna, ma dando il no shut non può rimanere administratively down

se dai il comando sh cellular 0/0/0 all che ti da?

Ciao,

dal tuo sh cellular mi pare che ci sia poco segnale (-74 dBm), hai testato la conf su un router diverso e/o in una posizione diversa?
Potresti postare conf ed un eventuale debug del dialer?

Ciao,

scusa se le risposte non ti arrivano subito, purtroppo sul forum ci sono solo nei (pochi) ritagli di tempo.
Da quel che vedo ci sono un po' di incongruenze nella conf.
1) L'interfaccia cellular punta alla dialer 1 che non ha dialer-string
2) La line del modem punta ad un chat-script UMTS che non é presente
3) Dal tuo precedente sh cellular vedo che il carrier é 3

Da qui mi sorge il dubbio che la conf non sia corretta, inoltre mi sorgono altre domande:
1) Qual'è il carrier?
2) Hai configurato il profile gsm?

Il debug che ti può più aiutare é il debug chat e quello debug dialer events

Ciao,

Dal tuo sh cellular, adesso effettivamente si vede che il carrier é tim e che l'APN é configurato nel profilo gsm.
Confermo che io ho usato WAPTIM sia con user che con psw, ma non credo che al provider interessi più di tanto, alcuni mi hanno detto che l'autenticazione é basata solo sul numero chiamante.
Il fatto che l'interfaccia sia normalmente down é perfettamente normale, anche a me stava così. Ciò che noto dallo sh cellular e che il segnale é effettivamente un po' bassino (-85 dBm). Un cellulare UMTS TIM ti prende il segnale UMTS?

ciao ho provato a mettere quello che avevi detto tu ma nemmeno riesce a connettersi ad internet.

Il comando debug chat è l'atro non mi danno niente di che:

se do i seguenti comandi mi dicono che sono attivi è basta poi non sò se poi ho sbagliato io?
