Salve a tutti,
ho un router CISCO 2610-I-M con ios 12.3(20), installando una wic-1adsl
attengo sempre l'errore:
"Unknown WIC in slot(0/0), wic card has an unknown id of 0x2E "
Sapete indicarmi quale versione l'IOS riconosce la mia scheda, ed i requisiti per installarlo?

Temo tu debba utilizzare una 12.4, però quanta ram/flash hai?

Mi dispiace contraddire un coamminstratore, ma e' sufficiente una 12.3 e forse anche una 12.2 con qualche feature, ma uno sguardo sul sito cisco chiarirebbe ogni dubbio.

Questa funziona sicuramente (ci sto postando ora!):
flash:c2600-ik9o3s3-mz.123-20.bin
Credo che tutte le 12.3 del 2610, anche IP BASE supportino la wic adsl, per cui sospetto che la wic o lo slot siano danneggiati.

La versione di IOS utilizzata dal router di HdnLuca NON supporta la WIC ADSL, la prima versione di IOS che la supporta è la 12.2(15)T16 e l'ultima è la 12.3(24) e solo per una sono necessari 8/32 mega di memoria, per le altre la memoria deve essere massimizzata a 16/64.
In questo momento il mio 2610 utilizza IOS : c2600-ik9o3s3-mz.123-22.bin con 16/64 mega di memoria.

Salve, mi unisco alla discussione:
io ho un 2611 con la 12.3(24) con 16F/64D - Il router vede la scheda ma non ho idea della configurazione. da inserirgli per una ADSL:

premetto che ho una sufficente pratica con router e switch cisco.
Ho rimosso la WIC1-ADSL da un 1721 (che ho sostituito con un 837) e ora la ho inserita in questo 2611 che è pronto da montare in armadio per una linea ADSL. Tra poco gli aggiungerò in armadio anche un 2610 con WIC1T per HDSL.

Ritornando al 2611 in questione, in pratica ho la ATM0/0 ma non la interfaccia punto punto.
