Come resettare Catalyst 2900 series XL

Avendo un Catalyst 2900 series xl con modulo WS-X2924-XL-V (per fibra ottica) dopo l'accensione effettua i test delle porte e restano solo accesse in colore arancione le porte 17, 18, 19 e 20. Lo switch si blocca e non permette nessuna operanzione attraverso il software cisco switch manager console.
Cosa fare?
Basta un reset o ricaricare il firmware?
Come fare tali operazioni?

Se ho ben capito si blocca il tool grafico della cisco....

per fare una diagnostica migliore dovresti entrare nello switch dalla porta console se puoi: da lì puoi vedere meglio cosa succede

Con una cavo console e un tool, tipo HyperTerminal (settando la porta seriale con 9600 bits per second, 8 data bits, No parity, 1 stop bit e nessun controllo di flusso), colleghi la seriale del pc alla porta console e vedi che succede, magari poi chiedi maggiori chiarimenti qui...

errore hardware...credo che ci si può far poco, almeno su quelle 4 porte...
