Che differenca c'è tra il VTP versione 2 e il
VTP V2 mode?

A quanto ne so io
abilitando il VTP version 2 posso forwardare aggiornamenti di VTP,
su Switch settati in Transparent,
nel caso fosse l'unico "Gateway" per raggiungere altri Switch settati in stato di CLient,
altrimenti spirerebbero lì,in quanto il Transparent si appoggia su un database unicamente locale,
ma
il VTP" V2mode?
Qualcuno lo sa?

Nuove features implementate in vtp v2:

- Supporto per VLAN Token Ring
- Controllo dei nomi e dei valori delle vlan sugli switches
- Gli switch in transparent mode forwardano tutti i messaggi VTP
- I Server e i Clients propagano i VTP message sul trunk anche se non capiscono il significato del messaggo e lo immagazzinano della NVRAM
