Help! cisco 857 con alice adsl naviga ed un 887 non naviga.

Ciao a tutti,
è la prima volta che scrivo anche se sono tanti anni che vi seguo, ma questa volta non ne esco; ora vi spiego il caso:
ho una connessione adsl di alice con ip dinamico dove è collegato un 857(Version 12.4). bene, il router è configurato e si naviga senza problemi; 3 giorni fa ho acquistato un nuovo router un 887 (version 15.1) ADSL2/2+ Annex A Router - ISDN/DSL e quindi l'ho configurato con i soliti parametri di alice, ma niente da fare non riesce a prendere il segnale quindi non si naviga.
Per ulteriore prova lo stesso 887 l'ho portato a casa da mio fratello che anche lui ha un Alice ADSL come la mia e stranamente il 887 funzia e si naviga (senza aver modificato niente).
non riesco a saltarci fuori. questa è la configurazione lato adsl dei 2 router (ho tralasciato per motivi di lunghezza la conf del nat e del ip e tutto il resto).
avete delle idee?

Ciao Paolo grazie per l'interessamento; ti aggiorno che il 887 oggi sempre a casa da mio fratello all'inizio si allinea e funzia e poi dopo smette e non si allinea. poi lo riavvio e fa lo stesso. mentre a casa mia non si allinea proprio. ecco lo stato interf. e dsl del 857 e 887
per me sembra il modem interno che ha problemi: infatti ogni 2-3-minuti fa un click.c

Il firmware sembra l'ultimo (ne esiste uno più recente ma per il chipset ST e non Alcatel).
Proverei a configurare il margine d'errore più basso

Ciao Paolo, ho settatto il noise margin -3 -2 -1 senza risultati. ho fatto il ppp negotiation and debug ppp authentication per capire se cè un mismatch con la portante. ma niente da fare il led CD lampeggia sempre,mentre i led Data e PPP sono sempre spenti;
cercando in giro ho trovatoqualcosa di simile dove alcuni sostengono che il problema sia del 887:

a questo proverei a farmi sostituire il router.

Se non si allinea non può salire il PPP. Io proverei altri firmware e IOS.

Lo stai utilizzando in pppoa, che per le adsl mono ip non e' piu' consigliato da telecom. Alcune centrali funzionano ancora altre no, oppure dipende dal profilo che telecom metti sul tuo mux. Passa tutto a pppoe:

nella sezione principale metti ip mtu 1492

l'887 usa lo stesso chipset adsl dell'877, in pratica e' solo piu' potente a gestire nat e altre features, a livello di modem adsl e' alla stregua dell'877. Quando avevo l'877 con il firmware wic 4.0.0.15 ho sempre avuto delle leggere noie di instabilita (ma non pregiudicavano assolutamente il funzionamento), sia sulle 7 mega che sulle 20 mega, per me il migliore in assoluto e' il 4.0.0.17.

sulle interfacce ATM c'è scritto "line is down", quindi c'è un probema di layer 1 su queste interfacce.
NOn è che hai usato un cavo che non funziona su quelle porte?

Ps. Escludo un problema a livello data link, perché come ha già detto Paolo, se non si allinea alla negogazione ppp manco ci arriva!
